Congratulations! Your CSS is fully configured for maximum reach and optimal performance. Whether you are using our Agency CSS or Keyword CSS solution, this guide will help you navigate your new dashboard.
Important: General Guidelines #
Before making any changes, please keep the following in mind:
- User Access: Any email address invited to the CSS must be associated with a Google Account.
- Adstrong Access: Never remove users created by adstrong from the CSS or change the user roles at the bottom of the page. These must remain as Admin to ensure your service stays active.
Agency CSS Setup #
If you are managing an Agency CSS, your hierarchy consists of a CSS Group, a CSS Domain, and a CSS MCA.
Access & Navigation #
- Login: Access your CSS Group at comparisonshoppingservices.google.com.
- The Structure: * CSS Group: The top level used primarily for high-level user management.
- CSS Domain: Located within the Group. This is where you find specific domain info and invite users to that specific branch.
- CSS MCA: Found by clicking “Merchants” in the left sidebar of your CSS Domain. All Merchant Centers you add will live here.
User Management #
We recommend granting access at the CSS Domain level to make navigation easier for your team.
- Click the Gear Icon (top right) → People and Access.
- Add users and define roles. They will receive a confirmation link via email.
Keyword CSS Setup #
Keyword CSS customers manage their accounts directly through the Primary CSS MCA.
Access & Login #
- Login: Access your MCA at merchants.google.com.
- The Structure: Each keyword has its own dedicated MCA. When a Merchant Center is moved to your Keyword CSS, it is migrated into this specific MCA.
User Management #
- Click the Gear Icon (top right) → People and Access.
- Add/Remove users and define roles.
- Note: Ensure the CSS user role remains as Admin.

Adding Merchant Centers to Your CSS #
To begin benefiting from adstrong’s CSS bidding advantages, your Merchant Centers (MC) must be linked to your new account.
